This is the place for anyone who wants to experience a casual collaborative team event with friends, co-workers or family. Fun is at the top of this team event, it does not matter if you are a beginner or a professional…
At the premiere of the Ten Friends Team Triathlon Frankfurt in 2015, nearly 600 beginners completed their first triathlon in the Riedbad.
Among them many beginners, company teams, clubs and groups of friends who compete with each other over three disciplines. The fact that the Frankfurt Team Event is so well suited for triathlon beginners is due to the family atmosphere, the LIVE bands, the delicious food, the children’s bouncy castle, the children’s events and the cool drinks (beer and Ebbelwoi from tap), especially the super pleasant and relaxed conception of the three popular distance disciplines swimming, cycling and running.
As everywhere else, 380 meters of swimming are on the program – 20 minutes are available for this in the 50m meter sports pool of the Riedbad Bergen-Enkheim. After that it is not 20 meters until the participants reach the transition zone.
The second discipline, the bike course, leads in Frankfurt in a varied 3-lap course through the Enkheimer Ried. Even in midsummer temperatures, the dense canopy of trees provides ample shade for triathlon beginners. Needless to say, not only newbies, but also experienced triathletes and mountain bikers will get their money’s worth on this varied course…
The running course in the east of Frankfurt impresses with its richness of facets. The triathletes run 2 times over the atmospheric event area and may admire picturesque orchards and the reed pond outside the outdoor pool, if the condition allows it 😉.
Info for DTU start pass holders, the Ten Friends Team Triathlon events are of course also suitable. The so-called sport legal approval of the national associations is obtained annually, the approval number is communicated in one of the participant mailings / race briefing.
